Introduction
I'd like a weak 'book club' format to discuss comic books, comic art, 'graphic novels', etc. I've been reading lots of Tatsumi, Dupuy & Berberian, Gasoline Alley, Kevin Huizenga, and Little Lulu lately.
Who are your favorite writers and artists and why?

Peter Bagge, Charles Burns, Jack Cole, Dan Clowes, Robert Crumb, Warren Ellis (on most days), Jack Kirby (pre-1975), Alan Moore, Frank Miller, Grant Morrison, Michel Rabagliati, Charles Schulz, Art Spiegelman, Chris Ware

What are your 3 favorite comic book characters of all time?

I never have been really character focused unless the character is tied to a creator. While some characters lead to much more interesting ideas and storylines than others, no character is above bad storytellers. That said - Batman, Batman, Batman.

What is your favorite comic story of all time?

I'd say Fun Home, because I keep finding new things in it, though on other days I'd throw out Jimmy Corrigan, Black Hole, Binky Brown, the last two issues of Eightball or Avengers Annual #10.

Hey there! How about telling us 3 comics or graphic novels that are really floating your boat these days.

Fun Home - Allison Bechdel The Push Man & Abandon the Old - Tatsumi Grant Morisson's Batman

  •  How cool is Joey? He's so cool that you wish he was a compatible bone marrow donor. He isn't but he'd loan you a stack of Eightball comics if you were laid up in the hospital waiting for a donor to show up.

He may even be able to tell you stories of people who were waaaay worse off than you. He's hand you Clumsy to prove it.
